Photo tips on Saturday: Feedly
I must start with my apologies – this post will not be what you are expecting. I’ve had a really busy week at work and haven’t had time to prepare for this week’s photo tips on Saturday which is due out in an hour’s time. So I thought to myself what can I do quickly to give you something to read. Initially I thought I could just refer you to the virtues of following Julieanne Kost as I always for her short video clips incredible useful. So here I was looking at Feedly which I use to aggregate together the various photographic articles/tutorials/photos I want to receive on a regular basis. You may use different applications for this purpose but the important point is an ability to keep track of updates you want to keep an eye on.
What do I receive in my feedly account.
Currently I receive the following in feedly:
- 500px ISO
- 500px Editors Choice
- Digital Photography School
- Everything Everywhere
- Julieanne Kost’s blog
- Light Stalking
- One Big Photo
- my own blog site
With the above list I end up with about 20 items to look at in any given 24 hour period (a lot of which are photos via 500px Editors Choice).
Do you use a similar approach to your ongoing reading? If you do, what sites do you keep track of?
