Weekly photo challenge: Angular IV
This week, we are asked to show what angular means to us in the weekly photo challenge. Suggestions for this challenge included:
It might mean the corner on which you live or the intersection of sea and sky at a 180 degree angle. Angular also offers a chance to shoot from an entirely new perspective: from above, below, or even from the margins of the fray.
In my first submission for the week I presented a photo taken at the ‘pop up mall’ in Christchurch, New Zealand. This mall was an early response following the Christchurch earthquakes – using containers as the building structures (see here). In the second submission I presented a photo taken in Akaroa, New Zealand showing luggage being ferried to the Dawn Princess. In the third submission I have selected another image from Akaroa – showing the angle of the fishing rod (see here).
In this fourth submission I present an image from Deadvlei, Namibia showing angles in nature.
