Weekly photo challenge: converge III
This week, we are asked to show what converge means to us in the weekly photo challenge. Suggestions for this challenge included:
explore the ways lines and shapes can converge in interesting ways through photography. You can take the theme in a literal or an abstract direction, as you see fit — from a photo of a byroad merging into a busy highway to an image of an airport terminal where people from all over the world form hectic, ephemeral communities.
In the first submission I presented a photo taken in Deadvlei, Namibia showing shadows from a tree that creates converging lines (see here). The second submission showed a photo from Sossusvlei, Namibia with leading lines converging on sand dunes in the distance.
In this third submission I present a photo of three giraffes converging towards the photographer. The photo was taken in Etosha National Park, Namibia.
